Residential Remodels and ADU

When remodeling an home, improvements can take a new homeowner on an investigation spree.  The actual Building and Construction process should not be confuse this with interior design.  These are components that do not require a Permit.  The Building aspects that require review by City Agencies will not appreciate in value if you do not permit the process.  The Assessors Office, Tax Records and City Agencies do not have linked computers, so you will not necessarily know all the compounded data to evaluate true value.  Owners often have to visit the Municipal Departments independently to get accurate information.  Knowing your property and what you purchase should be done before purchase.  Because we fall in love with the house prior to any research individuals neglect facts and hard data.  MTU will research these components of your home for remodeling.  Architects, Engineers, Surveyors, Contractors and Developers are welcome to these same services.

ADU – Auxiliary Dwelling Unit:  Second Unit and In-Law Unit Specialist.  Title 24, Fire Separation and Sound Barrier may be required.  Architectural Plan call outs will help the Architect Design in a more complete fashion to avoid second submittals.
